Salon Assistant

This is a hands-on salon assistant role designed to support service days and reduce physical workload. This is not a stylist position and does not include creative decision-making. Please read carefully before applying.

Role Overview

The salon assistant provides direct, physical support during service days. This role requires prior salon experience and the ability to work independently without training or supervision.

If you are seeking mentorship, flexibility, or a lead stylist role, this position is not a fit.

Required Skills

Applicants must already be able to perform the following confidently and independently:

• Shampoo natural hair

• Condition and detangle

• Blow-dry natural hair properly

• Complete clean braid-downs

• Assist during braiding services

• Clean and reset stations

• Sanitize tools and workspace

These skills will be verified during a paid trial day. No training is provided.

Schedule

• Fixed hours only

Availability must be consistent.

Professional Reference Requirement (Mandatory)

Applicants must provide at least one salon reference, including:

• Salon name

• Manager/Owner name

• Reference role

• Official salon phone number (landline or listed business number)

• Dates of employment

Personal references will not be accepted.
